Flowers Lagerstroemia (Langerstroemia flos-reginae Retz)
Lagerstroemia much interest we see in the main streets and city parks. I also see planted in the waiting room of Sukarno Hatta Airport.
I noticed a beautiful flower .. it .. let’s see …. it was not inferior to the cherry blossoms.
This Bungur flower color varies, there are white, purple, reddish purple. Funny seeds, like rounded kelengkeng fruit.
Best of this plant many Khasiatnya. Lagerstroemia seeds and leaves can be used to lower high blood pressure, while the bark to treat diarrhea, dysentery, and gonorrhea.
Filipino people use traditional medicine to treat Bungur leaf DM / blood sugar disease.
To reply to plant, to grow well, Lagerstroemia need a lot of sunlight. Lagerstroemia including recalcitrant plants to drought. In fact, these plants will bloom during the dry season.
