Mabolo (Diospyros blancoi A. DC)
This Mabolo fruit I see and get in Bogor. Persimmon-like fruit with fine hairs brown. It was sweet and rough like butter, so some people call the fruit butter or I prefer to call it Misbul (fishy / sweet and hairy).
The first saw was strange (because it’s soft fur lho), but after enjoying it hooked immediately.
Why this exotic fruit would be a shame …. extinct.
